NAWBO Houston names Janice Jucker business owner of the year

Houstonians with a sweet tooth have helped Three Brothers Bakery owner Janice Jucker win NAWBO Houston’s 2009 Woman Business Owner of the Year award.
Jucker said she expects to see a 30 percent increase in sales year-over-year in the family business.
The bakery’s 4036 South Braeswood Blvd. location reopened this summer after being damaged during Hurricane Ike last September.
The Jucker family began baking in Chrzanow, Poland, around 1825, and still uses many of the original recipes for its European-style breads and pastries.
The Houston-based bakery specializes in cookies, cupcakes and cakes.
